Jaime is the owner of SPOT On Therapy Center! She received a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 1999 and a Masters's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2001 at East Carolina University. Her experience providing speech pathology services includes a variety of settings, including private practice, The Speech and Language Development Center in Buena Park, California, Craven County Home Health, and Carolina East Rehabilitation Center, in New Bern, NC. In addition, Jaime has worked closely with Trillium Health Resources to provide consultative services for adults with disabilities, to evaluate, obtain, and train for Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices. Professionally, Augmentative and Alternative Communication has always been a passion for her. Most of her experience has been working with children with Autism and she is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS). Accent Modification Training has also been an area of interest and she has worked with business professionals from different language backgrounds and from all over the world. Jaime has over 20 years of experience in the field and is passionate about her community and improving the quality of life for her patients and families. In her free time, you might see her spending time outdoors with her husband, children and two grandchildren, paddle boarding, running, boating and relaxing at the beach. Most importantly, she loves the Lord, loves people, and desires to use her time and talent to impact the lives of others.
